Philadelphia, PA, May 12, 2008 – It’s a Friday night at eight o’clock. You’re standing in line for a prescription and the pharmacist tells you your insurance won’t cover it, and worse, that you’re not even in their system. You can pay out of pocket, but the going rate for the pills you need is over $500. Everyone in the HR department is gone for the day, and you certainly don’t know their cell numbers by heart. The health insurance company informs the pharmacist there’s nothing they can do until Monday morning.
